Excellent day trip. Will go again if visiting Fiji

This was one of our favorite excursion days. I believe we did a full day, but don't see an option to review the full day. Water socks are recommended as the sand is coarse & lots of coral chunks in the sand. Lunch was excellent and filling. Was nice to have the option for free beer, wine and soda all day. We did do the submarine free trip. I didn't appreciate that aspect so much as it was rocky (even though the seas were calm) and I felt motion sick in the short time and there wasn't a whole lot of fish to see, so I'd skip that next time, but others seemed to enjoy it. Didn't use the pool, only swam in the ocean and lounged on our chairs under the sun sail shade cloth. Boat ride there was quick and used a motorized catamaran, which is good for our sea sick sensitive family. Overall, a favorite day trip of our family of 4 adults.
Must do cruise

My most memorable experience was swimming in the ocean. I wanted to take my kids paddle boarding but by the time we got to the dive shop, all of the rentable kids life jackets were in use. It was fine because my kids loved the pool. Mahalo to our hosts, we loved the island and hope to come again.
Paradise for half a day!...

Wonderful island experience - perfect timing for young families

We did this cruise as a group of 13 including 1, 2, 3, 9 & 15 year olds. It was the perfect amount of time for the younger kids and the group size meant there was always someone to sit with those not in the water.

*important note: It says pram suitable but don't bother unless you have to. The catamaran meets a tender boat to and from the island itself so thr pram was a pain to get on and off the tender then up the sand.

The buffet lunch was great quality with plenty of quantity so no one was left hungry. The plate size was generous so none of us felt the need for seconds. The bar was also well stocked with the included drinks.

We hired the waterfront bure for the day which was perfect as somewhere for the kids to have a nap and all of us to have a private toilet & shower. It was also good to have somewhere out of the sun to store our things and reapply sunscreen.

The performance after lunch was well worth it and the team were great with some photos afterwards, they asked for donations but did not press and it didn't feel required.

The island is a coral island so reef shoes are advisable. We didn't have them and survived but certainly would have been more comfortable with them.

Some of our group did the scuba and loved it. I also enjoyed the snorkelling and found the anchored, floating pipe a few meters out from shore a good way point for not strong swimmers. We floated there for ages with the 9 year old who was excited to see all the fish just past his fingertips.

The ladies on the souvenirs tables were all lovely, one got us some mats and beanbags to make the kids comfortable in the shade and helped take a group picture which we appreciated.

The boat home was running behind as the first boat that arrived was full. It qould have been nice to have a little more information as we waited on the beach but this was a small issue overall.

We would absolutely do this trip again!
