Genuine Fijian Hospitality

Wonderful seven nights cruising beautiful Fiji Yasawa Islands. However a few tips. This is an active program. Unlike big boat cruising, you need to be able to move around the boat, to/from tender boats, up and down stairs etc. Absolutely loved it. The crew are amazing, good food, beautiful scenery and snorkling and wonderful village visits. A highlight for us was swimming at sunrise on pristine beaches. Love it, will be back, thankyou team BLC. Xxx

I highly recommend this cruise!!

I have been on 9 other cruises, but never on a small ship. We absolutely loved the small ship experience. Even though it is an old ship, it was an amazing week. All of the crew are so nice and accommodating. My adapter/converter didn't work with my flat iron and Maureen let me use hers for the week. The food and activities were exceptional. We did things we never thought we would do (snorkeled with sharks, swimming/diving into caves, and swimming and seeing manta rays). We loved the cultural parts in the villages also. We made some new friends that we hope to see whenever we make it down under! You need to take this cruise- all 7 nights!!

Awesome experience, great cruise with many interesting facets.

A great holiday, fantastic staff who genuinely seem happy to be there. Great cabins with ensuite facilities. Good activities with plenty of beaches, snorkelling with reef sharks and mantas. Visit to villages and many different islands. Highly recommended.

So much to do.

Fabulous active packed cruise. There was something to do everyday- snorkeling with manta rays, sharks, in caves. Climbs up hills, kayaking. paddle boarding ,fishing, visits to local villages, schools, Church. Kava ceremonies, Lovo and other cooking demonstration, water aerobics and the list goes on. Lots of music and dance plus live entertainment by very talented, funny staff and local villages. This is a cruise more for the active not for those who want fine dining. Food plentiful and OK but not a lot of variety or gourmet. I lived on the seafood which I loved. The staff went over the top to do whatever would make guests happy including doing your laundry at the cost of the machine. Basically no extra costs except alcohol(not excessively expensive) or spa services which people appeared to consider great value. A view all day everyday. Need to be fairly mobile as getting in and out of tender boats needed for most activities could be difficult for some. Nota cruise suitable for young children. There is a pool onboard but only filled when not travelling. Cabins small with not a lot of storage and shower small wetting all bathroom but didn't worry me as there was always something else to be doing. Take own books as little onboard. All other gear provided. Activities very well supervised with lots of staff to help if you needed it. Safety procedures got a bit slack at end of cruise . Daily changes to program/course would be made if weather or sea conditions required it . This was generally but not always passed on to passengers. No-one with covid but a small number with brief sea sickness.

Wonderful holiday

My husband and I recently enjoyed a 7 night cruise up to the Yasawa Islands. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely consider returning. We loved the low-key and unpretentious style of the cruise. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and they all work so hard to ensure you enjoy the environs. The snorkelling was amazing and beach activities were always fun. The room was adequate with a good sized porthole and storage was adequate but people travelling with large suitcases may be a bit restricted. The bathroom was small and the shower is small (water goes everywhere) but the cleaning was adequate and the water was always mopped up. We made some lifelong friends and were so sad to depart. Take me back!
