This was a fabulous day out. We had an opportunity to see inland more & enjoyed a leisurely long boat ride up river to the Waterfall which was a short walk & refreshing swim. The welcome at our guides village was beautiful & the cultural dancing & singing was an excellent experience. Lunch was delicious & all cooked by the village women. I had a fab massage & was able to purchase gifts without pressure & at very reasonable prices too. Thanks for making it a wonderful day.

Was an amazing day. Started with a river canoe to a breathtaking waterfall, great for swimming. We then headed back to the village on the river canoe, and had the option to try out the traditional bamboo raft. The rest of the day was spent at the village, with a traditional ceremony, delicious lunch, Kava, and some cultural lessons. Overall it was a perfect day, great to see the traditional Fijian lifestyle. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Would love to come back.
Navua River Combo Day - You wont be disappointed!!

From start to finish we had a ball. Our tour chief Nem, very charismastic with a great sense of adventure and fun. At the start we thought Denarau Island to Navua River was a little long in the bus but was very well worth the trip. The long boat is exciting at all stages, the waterfall is refreshing and pristine, and the families in the village who were available for our visit made our day complete. The welcome ceremony included all of the group, with a delicious lunch included, few demonstrations by the men and massages on offer in the wellness spa.
Would highly recommend this tour for young and old.

The village tour made it for me!! We learnt a out basket weaving, traditional paintings and making paints. The lunch is incredibly tasty, and the entertainment is breathtaking... make sure you bring cash to help support the artisans and buy some souvenirs from the village women. All the wood products have the treated customs stickers on them....before we get to the village we go up the river on motored long boats in groups of 6, at one point if the water is too long the rapids are a bit rough so some people get out to walk. Then we walk for maybe 10minutes along a paved but thin path with couple of stairs up to a waterfall to swim for half hour or so. On way back we swap long boats to bamboo rafts just for a short while because they are super slow... I recommend reef shoes not sport shoes because you're going to get wet a whole lot more than you do walking. And people who had to keep stopping to take one and off socks and tie shoes ended up with wet shoes anyway on the bamboo raft or when the long boats had water in them.
Awesome day out. And so worth the experience.... but the bus ride from nadi/denaru is 3 hours each way so pick up 6am and drop off 7pm once we were done is a long day with a 5yo and 9am... glad we brought the tablets for the drive. Miss 5 slept both ways
