This small boat cruise on the Fiji Princess was fantastic for the scenery, the activities, the food, and the service. The crew and staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. Even with Covid restrictions, they made our stay fun and comfortable. The crew was vaccinated, tested, and quarantined before we got on board; all the passengers were tested once in the previous few days plus an instant test prior to boarding. The crew was particularly helpful for the snorkeling activities and the Blue Lagoon beach and cave visit made famous by the movie. The outer cave requires some careful steps through a small entrance, and the inner cave requires a short (2 meters) guided swim underwater to access. The coral and fish on these snorkeling trips was the best that we saw during our 14 day stay in Fiji.
We were absolutely delighted with our Blue Lagoon Christmas cruise on the Fiji Princess. The cabin was comfortable and well equipped, the meals were great, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Highlights included snorkelling with the reef sharks, a cave swim, and dancing on the deck. With <70 guests, it was a great size to meet new people - but we always had plenty of space to do our own thing, too. Covid-19 management measures (including a rapid test on arrival) were sensible. Would 100% recommend to others - families, singles and couples alike. Vinaka, BLC team!
Absolute amazing experience!! Food, drinks and staff were out of this world with their service. My partner had sea sickness at one stage and they were so wonderful with making him feel better and checking on him the next day. The activities are very cool and the school experience was the highlight. Its also such a good way of meeting new people. Only down side would be the Rooms/cabins are abit small but you can make them work. Its a must do if you are experiencing fiji for the first time.
I wanted to give four and a half stars. This is a stunningly beautiful area of the world. The ‘Fiji Princess’ is well appointed, staff are lovely, cabins are comfortable but highly recommend Hibiscus deck if you have mobility issues - otherwise there are a lot of steep stairs. Lots of interesting activities but also time to relax and mingle with other guests. Everything is extremely well organised. I have just two issues which stopped me from giving five stars - 1: when you have 60+ guests and just one barman trying to serve them including complicated cocktails it does not work. 2. The food was generous and plentiful and mostly tasty and good - perhaps a little less variety would add a bit more attention to detail. The hot water for tea and coffee on the beach never worked. Those are minor issues and overall I would highly recommend this cruise.
I traveled with 2 friends (37 yrs old). The cruise was fantastic. The range of activities meant you were never bored but equally had time to kick back and relax if that’s what you get like doing. The staff were fantastic (almost 60 crew to 30 guests as boat wasn’t fully booked) which meant they were really accommodating to our requests. Food was a good variety. Not super high quality but still tasty. Private beaches were amazing. Lots of swimming, snorkelling, paddle boarding, sun baking. Cave swim was an amazing experience. I had double bed room to myself. Had I been sharing the room it would have been squashy. The room was very comfortable. Dark, mostly quiet, shower/ toilet is small but nice.
